Dale Time!

Let's make this Wednesday, March 3 at 5:00pm central time Dale time. All us fans need to channel our energy for one minute and meditate on a win this Sunday. That's right fans, for one minute all across the world, Jr. fans must come together as one and channel our power to Dale! I don't think something like this has ever been done before, but we and Dale need it! I know nascar fans are probably not the meditation (yoga) type, but this Wednesday at 5:00pm we must for one minute focus on Dale winning on Sunday. So until Dale time, buckle up fans, we will pull together for Jr!

Johnson wins again! Jr. comes in 16th.

Just my third nascar race, and I'm already sick of this guy named Jimmy Johnson. He is like the "New York Yankees" of racing. Jr. started 4th and finished 16th. Dale had a better showing in his green National Guard car than his bright orange car he had last week. I'm not giving up on Jr. and I have now made it my mission to see Johnson go down for the rest of the season. I will spend the rest of the night reflecting on what I could of done better as a fan and be ready for next Sunday. Buckle up Jr. fans, we will regroup and find a win next week!

Jr. a winner in Vegas

Yes, you read it here first! Jr. will be a winner this Sunday in Vegas! I'm calling it now before anyone. You may ask how someone that has only watched two nascar races ever pick a winner so soon? It's because I'm the smartest nascar fan in the world! It's true! I have figured out a no loss formula to pick winners of the race, and this weekend will be Dale Earnhardt Jr.! So after all of you place your bets and win in Vegas, I expect a percentage of your winnings to go to my Daytona 500 2011 fund! So buckle up fans, until I grace you with my words of wisdom, enjoy the race and I hope you someday can have my nascar IQ!

NASCAR, An Olympic Sport?

As I write this blog, I'm currently watching the winter olympics on NBC. As I watch my mind of course goes to the next Nascar race in Vegas this weekend. It then dawns on me, why isn't car racing an olympic sport? I think if we can have people dancing on skates and some sport with two men laying on each other while sliding down a hill, we can have car racing on the next summer olympics. You might ask, "Who would be our American racer?" Dale Earnhardt Jr. of course! And the hot go daddy dot com chick for the women! So there you have it race fans, pure genius thoughts from my NASCAR lovin' brain. Buckle up, and ride for gold Jr.

Monday after the race

It's the day after the race and I still do not feel any better about yesterday's results. I'm sick of looking everywhere and seeing Jimmy's face and his want to be beard! I know Dale is making the adjustments he needs to have a great race in Vegas on Sunday. I think if all of us can channel our energy and get as many new fans to cheer on Dale as we can we will help him pull out a win and a championship season! I have already pulled in 5 new fans and my goal is to bring more with the power of you and this blog. Together we will bring "team Jr." to victory! Keep the faith fans and buckle up for a great week. Go Jr!!!

Jimmy Johnson wins, Earnhardt has problems and finishes in 30's

Is Jimmy Johnson the best of all time? Are we watching the Michael Jordan, Babe Ruth, or Tiger Woods of Nascar? Who cares. All I care about is Dale's terrible finish and car problems that had him finish 32 or 33, I did not watch past Jimmy's victory speech. Early into my Nascar watching life, I now have more questions than answers. Including the biggest question of all, Am I more of a Dale Jr. fan or Nascar fan? You see I ask this question because once Dale fell 12 laps behind, all I wanted was the 32 cars ahead of him to crash so he could finish first. I wanted to stop watching all together, but I didn't. I do not know enough about cars to understand all that happen, but I blame it on this weeks color of his car. Kind of a puke orange instead of green and white like the hat I wear. I hope Jr does not expect me to buy a hat in each color. Las Vegas is next week and I know we will have a better result. Yes, I said "we". Why? Because "we"(Dale, his crew, sponsors, and yes FANS) are all in this together. It will be a sad week, but I know next Sunday will bring us the checker flag. So buckle up fans, we will see you next weekend.

Earnhardt Jr will begin 27th at Auto Club Speedway

Here we go race fans, It is 2:00 central time and I'm about to watch my second ever nascar race! Go Jr. I Just hope it does not take until 8 or 9 tonight to get done. I will make my prediction again that Dale will win number 1 in his new look orange car. I know Jr. is on a 58 winless streak but that was before I was a fan, I am not a fan of a loser, and Dale Jr. is no loser! So I got my snacks ready and I'm ready to cheer the orange amp car on to victory. So buckle up fans, this is and will be Jr's year!!!!!

Daytona 500

Wow!!!! I'm hooked on NASCAR! Even though Dale did not finish in 1st like I predicted, he did make a come from behind push in the last (overtime) lap. From 10th to 2nd in one lap, that is the Jr. I have come to cheer for and know in all of the two weeks I have been his fan. I told you all, that this is his year and now we all know why. Oh, by the way, some guy in a number 1 car won the race. I credit the push he got from Jr. in the last seconds on why he won. Also it was the team of the late Dale's wife. I cannot say I have ever sat in front of the TV and watched just one football game, but I have now for NASCAR. What a way to start my race watching year. Until next week, I cannot wait, buckle up and enjoy the ride.

Watching my 1st Daytona 500

I'm currently watching my 1st ever Daytona 500 heeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaa!!! This is a new experience for me, right now Dale is running 22 and there has been a 1hour delay. You never see this at the Superbowl with the field. I think they should have a rock band or some dancing ladies ready for something like this. But I'm enjoying the time off to go get some drinks. I'm pretty sure Jr. is right where he wants to be. So I will just sit and wait until Dale's car can make it's move and win this thing. Right now they are showing Dale eating some kind of candy bar. I hope it's a candy bar that has super powers to help a driver come from 22nd to 1st in 70 laps! Now I'm going back to put all my focus on the race. I just hope they finish this thing before my bed time. Go Jr!!!! Buckle up Fans!

2 days until America's Race

Johnson wins an exciting 1st duel on the same four tires. Waltrip crashes into wall but backs into the race. This is all leading up to two days until Jr. wins Daytona 500!

Quote of the day
" You have to put your big boy britches on" Waltrip after crashing into the wall and almost being eliminated from the Daytona 500.

This is why I love NASCAR, you don't hear Brett Farve saying that.

Buckle up fans!

My First Year as a Fan of NASCAR and JR

I have always loved sports! I am a huge Minnesota Twins fan and New York Giants fan. Every year I go through a depression once the Superbowl is over. I find my weeks not filled with the same excitement and joy until April brings baseball. So this year I searched long and hard in my soul to fill this sports void. I came to the conclusion that I must join the NASCAR crazy and begin to be a fan. If I was going to do this I was going to do it 100%! So first I had to find a driver. My driver this year will be a slumping , but the next NASCAR point Champion Dale Earnhardt Jr. Why will he win this year, because I be his fan! You might ask why I would go with a driver that is not even ranked in the top ten by some? Will it was down to him or the "pretty boy" that does back flips off his car with the Aflac duck! I pick a man's man with Jr. Yes that's what us fans call him, Jr. Why do I know this is fate? Because just this year I grew a beard and now Jr. has a beard! That is why this is the year. So follow along as I journal every week on my NASCAR experience! You are now in NASCAR country 88! Buckle up baby!!! 88 is going for the win.
